Medicaid Members can Obtain Chantix Through the QuitLine

Colorado Medicaid members can now access their pharmacy benefit for Chantix® (varenicline) as part of their QuitLine experience. Integrating Chantix therapy and personalized coaching available through the Colorado QuitLine provides patients with convenient and coordinated tobacco treatment that can increase their chances of quitting successfully. Obtaining Chantix through QuitLine requires a provider prescription. Steps for this process are available below.
