SF MUH Q2 Learning Community Call 12 20 2023

This is the second in a series of four Learning Community Calls provided by the Smoke-free Multiunit Housing TA. We are excited to welcome Taylor Harris and Annie Murphy as guest presenters. Taylor Harris, PhD is a researcher at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Health Services Research and Development Service. Dr. Harris will share insights from her research paper, “Identifying Cigarette Smoking Trajectories from Homelessness to Housing” and explain permanent supportive housing barriers and facilitators for cessation within this demographic, and the equity value in addressing smoke-free policies and cessation opportunities. Annie Murphy is an attorney at Dufford, Waldeck, Milburn & Krohn, L.L.P. in Grand Junction, Colorado. Annie will present her most recent work in the SF MUH area, focusing on fair housing, particularly the Warranty of Habitability, what it is, and how it supports our work for our communities.
