The 5As of Nicotine Cessation

In this presentation, BHWP’s Sr. Program & Policy Analyst, Jim Pavlik, first presents the minimal content required for a 5As training designed to be efficiently delivered to primary care staff and then proceeds to provide notes on how to amend the program for other professionals or greater time allotments. BHWP has made available the following resources to accompany this presentation: The presentation slide deck to be used by grantees as they wish A PDF of the slide deck along with trainer notes A script for the presentation, which also includes Pavlik’s complete trainer notes, and a list of resources (with links) to supplement trainee knowledge or to provide to their 5As audiences.
