2025: New Minor in Possession (MIP) and Possession, Use, and Purchase (PUP) Policy One-Pagers Available

UpRISE and STEPP have teamed up to create two new policy one-pagers. Unpack the truth about teen tobacco possession policies like Minor in Possession (MIP) and Purchase, Use, Possession (PUP) with our two new resources. These resources are here to demystify MIP and PUP policies by defining them, illuminating their detrimental effects, and outlining actionable steps for change. While both one-pagers offer pathways to address these issues, the youth guide specifically empowers youth with focused steps for learning and action, and the adult resource details broader alternatives for policy implementation.
