Colorado QuitLine - Keeping Pace
The Colorado QuitLine has been around since 2002, which may make it feel outdated, but it continues to be a resource for Colorado clinicians and residents. The evidence for behavioral interventions with or without FDA-approved pharmacology is substantial. To exceed the general effectiveness of quitlines, the Colorado QuitLine continues to evolve itโs offerings โ customizing and focusing services based on Colorado residentsโ shifting needs. National Jewish Health (NJH), the Colorado QuitLine vendor, has partnered closely with CDPHE/STEPP over many years. Together, STEPP and NJH work to keep pace with community needs. For a snapshot, this QuitLine population work 2019-2021 document displays updates and studies specific to Colorado QuitLine population-related work over three years, and a note on future work. To continuously engage Colorado residents who need this effective service, and to assist you in serving your community and its tobacco treatment needs, share your challenges, successes and questions about the Quitline with dee-dee.vallez@state.co.us. Together we can keep pace.
