Community Feature: Boulder County Public Health TEPP Launches All Facts, No Cap Youth Vaping Prevention Media Campaign

Boulder County Public Health TEPP Launches All Facts, No Cap Youth Vaping Prevention Media Campaign In April, the Boulder County Public Health TEPP program, in partnership with their Youth Advisor teammates, launched the All Facts, No Cap youth vaping prevention media campaign. This campaign provides young people in Boulder with all the facts they need on the risks, harms, and costs of vaping to make informed decisions about their health and discover resources to support them or someone they care about to quit vaping. TEPP Youth Advisors were instrumental partners in the creation of the design and messages of the campaign materials; meeting with media professionals, advocating for effective design concepts and messages, and surveying their peers to get more perspectives on the campaign. Their voices and work ensured that the campaign was targeted correctly and culturally relevant to Boulder youth. Campaign ads are currently running on TikTok, and a supporting landing page with facts and quit resources has also been launched. Youth advisors and campaign ambassadors will be posting campaign-related posts on their social media profiles to amplify the reach of the campaign and the TEPP program will also distribute a social media toolkit to partners and organizations so they can also share the campaign messages on their social media platforms with their networks. If youโ€™d like to hear more about this campaign or have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Amanda Trinh, atrinh@bouldercounty.org. Youth Advisor Testimonials Kaitlyn Nandi, TEPP Youth Advisor (they/them/theirs) โ€œWhile working as a youth advisor for the TEPP program, I provide a unique youth point of view for creating the media campaign. My favorite part of this process was getting to come up with slogans and helping with the landing page. I love working on this campaign and am so excited to see it launch!โ€ Gadivel Torres, TEPP Youth Advisor (she/her/hers) โ€œAs a youth advisor for the TEPP program, I helped design our logos, figure out the colors, and, most importantly, decide what we wanted our message to say. In addition, I loved coming up with graphics and slogans and helping to design the landing page. Iโ€™m very excited to see the final result and the project launch.โ€
