FY24 TA Needs Assessment

A Training & Technical Needs Assessment will be released in Q3 once FY25 contract negotiations have winded down at the end of March. The purpose of this assessment is to clarify the professional guidance and support needs of STEPP grantees. The goal is to leverage these insights to support, improve, and prioritize trainings offered in the FY24-26 grant cycle. You will be asked to assess your confidence in performing several tasks across the following 10 topic areas. Your candid responses will be viewed only by STEPP and STEPP’s TA providers. Completing the assessment is required for all local public health and community-led innovative grantees:

• Social Justice and Tobacco Control; Advancing Health & Racial Equity
• Community Engagement
• Coalition Development
• Youth EngagemenTobacco-Free Schools
• Smoke-Free Multi-Unit Housing
• Policy Activities
• Cessation and Tobacco Treatment
• Data and Evaluation
• Media and Communications

Please note: If you responded to the Community Engagement assessment released in November, you do not need to respond again to that section of the assessment.
