Help Promote the QuitLine with Nicotine Replacement Therapy
Free Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT)* from the Colorado QuitLine can be key in helping you promote QuitLine services to your community.
Between 80-85% of Colorado QuitLine enrolled clients receive NRT.
Your work makes a difference. What are FACTs you can share with your community about Colorado QuitLine NRT?
- NRT provided by the Colorado Quitline includes patches, gum and lozenges.
- The Colorado QuitLine will mail NRT to any Colorado address or PO Box.
- Nicotine Replacement Therapy is free of charge through the Colorado QuitLine.
- Combination therapy is available for participants with a higher level of nicotine dependence
- NRT is not available to participants under the age of 18.
- Medical consent to use nicotine replacement therapy is required for people who are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- Pre-cessation NRT (providing NRT prior to a quit date) is available to participants.
- Enrollment in a QuitLine program (telephone or online) is required to receive NRT.
For phone enrolled participants:
- Up to eight weeks of free nicotine replacement therapy products for up to two quit attempts per year.
For web enrolled participants:
- Up to four weeks of free nicotine replacement therapy products, for two quit attempts per year.
