My Life, My Quit Toolkit Available
National Jewish Health and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment are pleased to announce the official launch of MyLifeMyQuit, a new program to help Colorado youth get support for tobacco and vape use.
In 2018, Colorado made it possible for youth as young as 12 to get access to free and confidential tobacco treatment services. Nearly half of Colorado youth who smoke or vape report that theyโve tried quitting, which is why itโs important to let them know there are resources that can help them meet their goal.
This new partner toolkit was created specifically with grantees and community partners in mind with ideas for how to amplify the My Life, My Quit message locally with parents, trusted adults, and youth.
The toolkit includes the following:
- Ideas for local paid media
- Social media posts that can be shared by partners
- Sample newsletter content
- Radio scripts
- An op-ed article that can be submitted to your local paper
- Links to print materials that can be shared with schools and healthcare providers
- An overview of CDPHE's plans for earned media
Thank you for your support in spreading the word.
