New Grantee Orientation
On Jan 19 and 20, 2021, STEPP held its first virtual New Grantee Orientation with over twenty new LPHA and State and Community STEPP grantee staff from across the state. In spite of COVID-19, STEPP staff wanted to connect with and reassure new grantee staff that they were integral and supported in the hard work that is tobacco control. Grantees were presented with an overview of the STEPP program, to include: how grantees fit into the broader tobacco control movement, how STEPP plans to address racism and health equity moving forward, identifying STEPP staff and TA providers and other good to know information. We promised we would send out the recording of the orientation, and apologize for the delay in doing that, however, we are sharing it with you in this week’s newsletter. Please follow up with your STEPP POC if you have additional questions about anything in the presentation. Link here for day one and link here for day two.
