Phase 3: Remainder of the Grant Cycle: Using Results of the Commercial Tobacco-Focused Community Assessment to Build Community Buy-in and Trust
We are pleased to share the Phase 3 Guidance for the Tobacco-Focused Community Assessment. Phase 3 (the final phase) is centered on the ongoing work to be conducted by local public health agency grantees throughout the FY24-26 grant cycle. Consider this guidance a primer for the work ahead. The details and the order of the steps you take and when may vary depending on your community's needs and readiness. We want to extend a big thank you to each of our LPHA grantees who volunteered to review and provide feedback on this document. We deeply appreciate the time and valuable contributions you each provided. Most of the work of Phase 3, telling the story of the burden of commercial tobacco and initiating community engagement and coalition building, will need to be reflected in your FY25 implementation plan. A webinar focused on completing your IP is planned for June 24, from 10:00-12:00.
