STEPP recently created two new resources to support your conversations with community members about Colorado’s youth nicotine use and emerging nicotine products. The 2023 Healthy Kids Colorado Survey Nicotine Infographic is designed to help audiences understand recent youth tobacco/nicotine data and trends in Colorado. This resource’s audience could include parents, youth-serving organizations, and local decision-makers. The Oral Nicotine Pouch Fact Sheet can be shared with parents, trusted adults, school administrators, and others who may want to learn more about these emerging products. It features facts about oral nicotine pouches like Zyn, On!, and Velo and an overview of how these products differ from nicotine replacement therapy (NRT).
