Search for Tips From Former Smokers campaign talent

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is conducting a national search to find people with compelling stories to be featured in a future Tips From Former Smokers® (Tips®) campaign. The campaign will feature real people who have had life-changing, smoking-related health problems and their loved ones who care for them. CDC is looking for people who used to smoke and have a smoking-related health condition including, but not limited to:

  • Cancer
  • Heart Disease
  • Stroke
  • Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) or another smoking-related lung disease

CDC is also looking for people who used to smoke and have a diagnosed mental health condition such as depression or anxiety. Additionally, CDC is also looking for loved ones who have had to regularly care for someone suffering from a smoking-related health condition.
