Shifting Work Efforts due to COVID-19

A letter to Tobacco Grantees:

STEPP team hopes that you, your families, and your communities are healthy during these challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic.

We acknowledge that grantees may have been or may soon be reassigned to COVID-19 response efforts and related emergency resource coordination. We also realize that your Tobacco-funded work activities may be delayed. We are in the same situation, as many CDPHE staff are being reassigned to COVID-19 response and are also grant-funded on tobacco or chronic disease sources.

Please know that the Tobacco team will strive to be as flexible as possible with regards to challenges that prevent you from meeting grant requirements.

We want to inform you that at this time we will not require you to submit Quarter 3 progress reports.

CDPHE leadership is discussing options and the various issues related to the contracts with grantees across the state in various subject areas. They hope to provide additional information soon. STEPP will share more information when it is available. As always, if you need anything from us please do not hesitate to reach out. We appreciate all that you do for the health of Coloradans.
