Texas Study Reveals Patterns in Menthol Tobacco Use
A Tobacco Control longitudinal study of young adult cigarette smokers at 24 Texas colleges revealed patterns about products and menthol tobacco use.
The study found that 33.7% of smoking students were dual product users, 25.6% were poly (three or more) product users, and that menthol was associated with 1.28 times greater odds of being a multiple tobacco product user.
