The American Lung Association issues their “State of Tobacco Control” Annual Report

The American Lung Association 2020 Report shows the progress and failures of the states and the federal government to prevent and reduce tobacco use.

The report grades states and the federal government based on whether state and federal laws protect Americans from the enormous toll tobacco use takes on lives and the economy. Colorado earned an F for Tobacco Prevention and Cessation Funding, a B for Smokefree Air, F for Tobacco Taxes, A for Cessation Services and an F for Tobacco 21.
