Updates on Nicotine Product Regulation

House Bill 2020-1001 Nicotine Product Regulation, passed out of the House Committee on Finance on March 2, and was referred to the House Committee on Appropriations.

On March 6, it passed out of Appropriations and was referred to the full House. It passed the third reading on the House floor on March 10 and was introduced in the Senate and referred to the Senate Finance Committee on March 13th.

House Bill 2020 - 1319 Prohibit Sale Of Flavored Nicotine Products was heard in the House Committee on Health and Insurance on March 4th.

The Health and Insurance Committee

amended

the bill to restrict the sale of flavored tobacco products to โ€œage-restricted premisesโ€ on March 10. The House laid the bill over until March 30.
