UpRISE Releases Youth-Directed Cessation Talking Points

UpRISE’s Youth Action Board (YAB) realized that there was a need for youth cessation messaging that was nonjudgmental and social justice-oriented, that inspired young people to become nicotine free and not line the tobacco and vape industry’s pockets. These messages direct young people to the free, nonjudgmental cessation support available via My Life, My Quit. Over more than 6 meetings, the YAB wrote these talking points to share with LPHAs and other STEPP-funded partners. The talking points can be used by adults to communicate directly to young people or by youth for youth.
