Welcome to our new Tobacco Cessation Supervisor, Tiffany Schommer!

Hello, I am Tiffany Schommer (she/her), the new Tobacco Cessation Supervisor as of 5/1/23. I’m thrilled to have joined the Tobacco Program team and bring over twenty years of community and public health experience. For the past ten years, I served as a Population Health expert at the University of Colorado/UCHealth, where I spent the past five years developing and directing a novel comprehensive tobacco cessation program. I also have widespread experience in health equity, and equality initiatives and chronic disease prevention, within both global and local communities. On a personal level, I am from a tiny Midwest (IL) farm town, I love enjoying the all-season Colorado outdoors with my kids and dogs, am one of “those” plant people (let’s swap propagations!), and traveling. I feel grateful to be part of this division and look forward to meeting you all and opportunities for cross-collaboration.
