Yampa Valley Teens Help Peers Quit, Avoid Nicotine

The Yampa Valley UpRISE Youth Coalition (Moffat County Youth Action Council) in Moffat was highlighted and recognized by their local newspaper for their advocacy for youth tobacco use prevention and cessation programming. The youths shared how participating in the UpRISE programming/activities allowed them to learn about the dangers of vape use and about resources that supported youth quit attempts.
