Colorado QuitLine now offers “Text to Order NRT” Feature

Data from National Jewish Health shows an increased preference among QuitLine participants for text message based communication and engagement. To reduce barriers to accessing nicotine replacement therapy (NRT), the QuitLine now offers “Text-to-Order-NRT”. Adults (18+) enrolled in the text messaging program can text “NRT” to order an additional one time, two-week supply of NRT per quit attempt. This offering can be used in conjunction with NRT available through QuitLine’s phone and web programs. Texting NRT initiates a live text exchange with a QuitLine Coach who can facilitate the NRT ordering process.
